He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Behnke and Anna Behnke of Brillion, Wisconsin.; his wife Joyce McIlree Behnke; his siblings, Mary Diann and Herb; his sister-in-law Doris Behnke; his niece Karen Bissonette; his parents-in-law, Dr. J. R. McIlree and Minnie McIlree; his siblings-in-law, Roger and Millie McIlree; and his nephew Dick McIlree.
He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Thompson and Jackie Behnke; his grandson Chris; and his granddaughter-in-law Diane Thompson. He is also survived by six nieces, four nephews, and very good friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cudahy United Methodist Church (5865 S Lake Dr, Cudahy, WI 53110). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
