He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Schoemann and Marjorie Schoemann; his brother Hubert "Butch" Schoemann; and his in-laws, John and Elizabeth Jungbluth.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schoemann (Jungbluth); his daughters, Theresa Misir (Jonathan) and Cecilia Deschler (William); his grandson Liam Deschler; his sister Virginia Schoemann; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Schoemann, Dennis Jungbluth (Carole) and Janice Berlin (Raymond). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
