He was predeceased by: his daughter Gwen Anderson; and his sister Julie Nevin-Miller. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rust (Anderson) of Dallas; his children, Robert Rust (Liz) of Hammond, Caitlin Johnson (Ryan) of Barron, David Rust of Dallas and James Rust (Brita) of River Falls; and his sister Joni Marcotte (James) of River Falls. He is also survived by 4 grandsons and a granddaughter.
