She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Volkmann and Isabel Volkmann; and her son Brian Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Greg; her daughters, Faith Eilertson (Scott) and Kim Gernandt (Rob); her stepdaughters, Christine and Brenda Peterson; her daughter-in-law Kim Schmidt; and her sister Janice Kolodji. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
