He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Breunig and Dorothy Breunig (Lins); and his in-laws, Dorothy, Sylvester Breunig, Gilbert, Carol Helt, David Frosch, Larry Sliffe, Vicki Breunig, Tom Breunig and Tracy Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Helt; his children, Shelbey, Dustin and Dakoda; his siblings, Gerry Breunig (Kathy), Kathy Sliffe, Louise Frosch, Ralph Breunig (Barb), Ken Breunig, Marcie Baures (Bill), Randy Breunig, Phil Breunig (Theresa), Eric Breunig, Nick Breunig (Mary), Brian Breunig (Tracey), David Breunig and Kris Haag (Steve); and his in-laws, Paul Helt (Mary), Ann Vosen (Steve), Joan Richter (Mark), Dale Helt (Diane), Kathy Hartmann-Breunig and Lynn Meier (Chuck).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winn-Cress Funeral Service (2929 Peaceful Valley Parkway, Waunakee, WI 53597). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rex's Innkeeper (301 N Century Ave, Waunakee, WI 53597).
His love of the land and his generous spirit will live on through the gift of tissue donation.
