She was predeceased by: her sisters, Margarita Carbajal and Ines Carbajal; and her stepson Adon Castañeda. She is survived by: her husband Adolfo Castañeda; her children, Mauricio Castañeda (Emilia) of Delavan, WI, Gisela Dittner (Scott) of Janesville, WI, Maria Castañeda of Elkhorn, WI, Marco Castañeda (Yesenia) of Woodstock, IL, Ana Ortiz (Raymundo) of Lake Geneva, WI and Sonja Araoz (Irving) of Lake Geneva, WI; and her siblings, Romulo Carbajal (Alberta) of Las Vueltas, Adulfo Carbajal (Elvira) of Harvard, IL and Juvencio (Maria) of Las Vueltas, Mexico. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home (107 W Sumner St, Harvard, IL 60033).
