Joan Linden Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 27, 2025, at the age of 92, Joan Linden of Darlington, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Houtakker and Sylvia Houtakker (Kunkel); her husband Jim; her grandson Jason Linden; her daughter-in-law Patty Linden; her siblings, Rosemary Vondra (Arlyn), Harold Houtakker, Donald Houtakker and Betty Nuxoll; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Baumhover and Dale Linden.

She is survived by: her children, James Linden (Ting Ni), Mary Goller, Joe Linden, John Linden and Christine Larkin (Bob); her grandchildren, Eric Linden (Lesley Kemper), Josh, Andy Linden, Jared Linden (Carly Marinaro), Erica Goller (Casey Ringer), Ashley Honshel (Brett), Hope Linden (Joe Foucault), April Welbes (Adam), Zac Gibson and Mariah Jacobs (Morne); her siblings, Rita Baumhover and David Houtakker (Adele); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Houtakker, Marita Linden and Don Linden (Joan). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two great step-grandchildren.
