We announce the death of Robert Staples III (De Forest, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Staples Jr. and Verna M. George; and his wife Patricia Ann Newton Staples. He is survived by: his children, Linda Staples Borton (David Borton) and Paul Douglas Staples (Nancy Gue Staples); his grandchildren, Jaime Staples Alvis (Matthew Cook), Kelly Staples Alvis Bisogno (Mike Bisogno), Michael Robert Gue Staples (Kerry Bannen) and Matthew Gregory Gue Staples (Morgan Staples); his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan David Borton (Malia Hosoi Galucci) and Elizabeth Joy Borton (Erin Beers); and his great grandchildren, Elijah Bisogno, Evelyn Grace Bisogno, Emma Jane Bisogno and Norah Dell Alvis-Cook.
