He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Tilkens and Hilda Tilkens (Vanden Langenberg); his grandson Brian Wachholz; his siblings, Dolores Paikowski (Ron) and Vernon Tilkens; and also Sue Jacobsen (Pete).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tilkens; his children, Debbie Wachholz (Jim), Dan Tilkens (Colleen) and Tina Biese (Joe); his grandchildren, Adam Wachholz, Natasha Cox (Aaron), Heaven Scherkenbach (Colin), Ashton Wagner (Katie), Alexa Eichinger (Brian) and Colton Biese; his sister Joanne Raymaker (Jim); and also, Terry Renn (late Henry) and Larry Hockers (Jean). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (130 St Matthews St, Allouez, WI 54301).
Donations in memory of Al may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to support the local pro-life movement.
