She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Mercier and Hope Mercier (Eckstein); her parents-in-law, Albert and Fern Gouin; her siblings, Dan Mercier and Cathie Mercier; and her brother-in-law Bob Gouin.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Gouin; her children, Nea Christensen (Joe) and Joshua Gouin (Megan); her grandchildren, Isaiah, Daniel, Lily Christensen and Jack Gouin; her siblings, Sue Mercier and Tom Mercier (Michelle); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Greenwood, Connie Gouin, Linda Herman (Ken), Susie Mikol (Gary), Patty Belter (Bob), Tom Gouin, Sally Heiser (Rocky), Mike Gouin (Susan), David Gouin (Mary) and Terri Mercier. She is also survived by her relatives and friends.
She was a very generous women and would donate money to World Vision to give chickens, cows and goats to people in poverty.
