He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred "Fritz" Keyser and Alberta Keyser (Johanna); his parents-in-law, Sophia and Charles Sleight; and his son-in-law Tim Tassol.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; and his children, Stephen Keyser (Vicki), Sally Tassol and Stuart Keyser (Susan). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and members of his large extended family.
