He is survived by: his father John; his close friend Christine Petitjean (Chris); his son Alexander Schadrie; his stepdaughter Alexis Petitjean; his sister Nicole Dubs (Robert); his nieces, Breana and Jilyan Dubs; his sister Wanda Van Laanen (Dale); his friends, Jay and Kristin Blanchard; Christine, Arden, Glenda Schalk, Eric and Mom. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Eric's name may be made to The Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay Campus to honor his and Chris's beloved dogs who have passed.
