It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory D. Brown Sr. of De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Brown and Margaret Brown (Strassheim); and his siblings, Robert, Floyd Brown and Beth Fuller.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Brown of De Pere, WI; his sons, Gregory Jr. Brown (Michele) of Shawano and Eric C. Brown (Dawn) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Lex Hendrick, Colton Brown, Greydon Brown, Alli Brown, Bryce Boenski, Jadyn Brown and Brody Boenski; his stepchildren, Tanya Hendrick (Chris) of Alpharetta, Georgia and Tim Boenski (Wendy) of New London, WI; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. (336 S Sawyer St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and plants the family prefers memorials in Greg's name to the Shawano County Humane Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
