He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Maes and Catherine Maes (Zentmeyer); and his brothers, Dave and Don. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Bill (Julie Maes), Tom Maes, Julie (Andy Burkard), Mike Maes, Andy Maes and Jeff Maes; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Alyssha, Rachel, Kyle, Rebecca and Lindsey; and his brother Dick.
