James M. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Smith of De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Smith and Mildred Smith (Butler); his sister Grace Mueller (Darrell); his parents-in-law, John and Mary Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Howard Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Alene Schmidt; his son Michael Smith (Judi); his sister-in-law Joan Schmidt; and his sibling's children, Cherry Mueller and Steven Mueller.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lyndahl Funeral Home (1350 Lombardi Ave, Green Bay, WI 54304). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the DVA (Disabled Veterans Association) in his memory.
