He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Klug and Lillian Klug (Treichel); his sister Carol Stever; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Eichhorst and Linda Skenandore.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Eichhorst; his grandchildren, Allee Marti (Kyle), Jerrod Klug (Madeline), Natasha Putterman (Justin), Nicole McClure (Jacob), Emily Lawler, Cody Aude (Danielle) and Elijah Aude (Madison); his great grandchildren, Jett, Clara, Bexley, Macie, Moxie, Abram, Everett and Quinn; his siblings, Jeff Klug, Jan Belanger (Joe Walker) and Donna Edinger (Mel); and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Stever, Jim Eichhorst (Sheryl), John Eichhorst (Barb), Ron Eichhorst (Connie), Chuck Skenandore, Bev Beno (Nick), Sue, Michelle Devroy and Hollie Eichhorst.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jerry may be made to St. Mark Lutheran and Abiding Love Lutheran in Loveland, CO.
