It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola M. Karas (De Pere, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schriver (Dorothy) and Marion Schriver (Pazourek); her former husband Gerald Vandertie; her husband William Karas; her siblings, William Schriver and Anne Sickles; and her grandson-in-law James Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Vanden Branden (Paul), Kathy Sunstrom (Allen), Lori Vertz (Daniel) and Kelly Farvour (Andrew); her grandchildren, Jared Vanden Branden (Katie), Joel Vanden Branden (Nicole), Adam Sunstrom (Katy), Kelsey Scott (Keith), Nicholas Vertz (Janel), Erin Lasslo (Stephen), Shannon Johnson, Jason Farvour (Thari) and Jessica Farvour; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Regan, Elijah, Taylor, Madyson, Johanna, Lillian, Elliott, Alexa, Annika, Camden, Gavin, Sophia, Naiomi, Hayden, Zander, Caleb, Natalie, Charlotte, Alaina, Jerald, Sawyer, Oliver, Chessney, Ellie, Ainhu and Dion; her sister-in-law Mary Schriver; her niece Linda Brown; her nephews, Michael Sickles and Tom Schriver; and her stepsiblings, George Schriver (Nancy) and Karen Oberg.
