Baeten and Mary Baeten (Hoffman); his wife Patricia Alger; his siblings, Bede Baeten (Ev), Mark Baeten, Cy Baeten (Betty), Jean Shaughnessy (Patrick) and Tom Baeten (Carol); his siblings-in-law, Janice Baeten, Ruth Stockman and David Leidel; his nephew Mark Baeten; and his niece Terry Leidel.

He is survived by: his children, Jane Yells and Joe Baeten (Annette); his grandchildren, Chase, Reid Yells, Jennifer Retel (Wes) and Brandon Sinkler; his great grandchildren, Michael, Madison, Mason, Max, Matthew, Molly, Ava and Mila; his brother Allen "Otch" Baeten; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Eileen Baeten and Ginny Leidel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
