He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Herber and Mareena Herber; his in-laws, Leonard and Helen Nelson; his brothers, Chuckie, Don and Rick; and his in-laws, Lou Ann Herber, Betty Herber, Doris Herber, Dan Doedens and Al Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Nelson (Nell); his daughter Pam Vollmar (Joe); his grandson Darren Vollmar (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Clayton, Elise, Brinlee and Fletcher Vollmar; his siblings, Carolyn Doedens, Dan Herber, Charlotte VandeHei (Ron), John Herber (Donna), Mary Rolf (Eugene), Victor Herber (Joanne), Margaret Keehan (Chuck) and Jim Herber (Karen); and his sister-in-law Jan Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First United Presbyterian Church (605 N Webster Ave, De Pere, WI 54115). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Pete's memory by treating others with fairness, living with integrity, and paying it forward. Donations in his memory to Unity Hospice are appreciated.
