He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heier and Mercedes Heier (Pigeon); and his sister Nancy Heier. He is survived by: his son Chris (Jacqueline Dioguardi); his grandchildren, Nolan and Kailani Heier; and his brother Robert Heier.
In lieu of flowers, Dick asks that donations be made to either St John's Homeless Shelter or Casa Melanie at St. Willebrord, wanting food on less fortunate tables in his memory.
