He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Schwechel and Richard Haegele. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Derek Haegele of Green Bay and Sarah Martinson (Kevin) of Green Bay; and his sister Lori Schuerman (Bill) of Jacksonville, FL.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (700 S Superior St, De Pere, WI 54115).
In lieu of flowers, donations will be dispersed in Rick's honor to The Green Bay Metros.
