It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. Van Gemert of De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her brothers, Alvin (Alfreida) and Richard Siudzinski; and her daughter-in-law Marilyn Jensen Van Gemert. She is survived by : her cousin Edward Bujarski; her children, Thomas, Robert, Karen (Patrick Riordan), David and Kathleen Van Gemert; her grandchildren, Mark Van Gemert (Danielle), Philip (Levina), Nicholas (Maria Quiroz), Andrew, Alexander Ribeiro, Anne and James Cameron; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Elise Van Gemert, Sophia and Amalia Ribeiro; her sister-in-law Rose Siudzinski; and her husband James Van Gemert. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and their spouses.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (220 S Michigan St, De Pere, WI 54115). A Mass was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

A memorial fund has been established in Rita's name.
