She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Charles Picard and Genevieve Picard (Kuess); her siblings, Mary Ellen Picard and John Vincent Picard; and her niece Shelly Picard.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Larry Borley; her daughter Jessica Murphy-Smith (William); her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Picard and Jared Smith; her great grandchild Taelynn Veker; her brothers, Dr. Charles W Picard (Carol) and Albert "Greg" Picard (Lisa); and her sister-in-law Cora Picard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
