He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Heffernan and Phyllis Heffernan (Honadel); and his son Mark Heffernan. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Powers; his granddaughters, Keira and Emelia; his brother Timothy (Barb); his nephew Jacob (Ari); his aunt Darlene Masters (Bill); and his daughter-in-law Melissa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to MHO Scholarship Fund or Unity Hospice.
