Thomas D. Platz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas D. Platz (De Pere, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas D. Platz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edward, Christine Wicker, Arno and June Platz; his brothers, Steve and Mark; his aunts and uncles, Paul Wicker, Ken Brosig, Lois Wicker and Barbara Platz; and his cousin Dan Wicker.
He is survived by: his parents, Donald Platz and Nancy Platz (Wicker); Kristin, Kaden, Izzy, Amari, Haley and Jupiter. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Living Hope Church (620 24th Ave W, Menomonie, WI 54751). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cotter Funeral & Cremation Care (860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, WI 54115).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Parents Project Muscular Dystrophy.
