With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgil Ray Kussow (De Pere, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kussow and Elnora Kussow (Pagel); and his brothers, Merle Kussow (Joyce), Russ Kussow, Lowell Kussow and Jerry Kussow.
He is survived by: his wife Randean Robinson; his children, Sue Rentmeester (Ron), Scott Kussow (Cheryl), Stuart Kussow (Amy), Collette Lanser, Cheryl DeJardin (Steve) and Jack Thornton (Linda); his sister Judy Maus; his sisters-in-law, Judy Kussow, Mary Kussow, Jackie Kussow, Beverly Robinson and Joanie Robinson; the mother of his children Inge Kussow; his grandchildren, Matt Rentmeester (Autumn), Casey Rentmeester, Mandy Baier (Brendan), Katie Deen (Benjamin), Lindsey Kussow, Allison Palet (Calvin), Trent Kussow (Hana), Zac Schanau (Robyn), Courtney Schanau, Chad Shaha, Misty Long (Reid), Heather Borlee (Jason), Hannah Pribyl (Aaron), Philip Akins (Amy) and Adam Akins (Amelia); his great grandchildren, Harper, Audrey, Khaleesi, Quinten, Camden, Aiden, Eleanor, Jaxon, Deklin, Levi, Gianna, Dane, Colten, Easton, Emsley and Emmalane; his in-laws, Glenn Maus, Travis Robinson, Marion Robinson, Irwin Robinson, JoAnne Staats and Lucille Robinson; his children, Colleen Thornton and Steve Thornton (Mary); and his close friends, Toni, Nathan Ronk, Josh Sahotsky and Lynnette Berreau.
