He is survived by: his children, Guy Nelson (Tamara), Byrce Nelson (Gloria) and Marcey Nelson; his great grandchildren, Starr Onshus (Ryan), Carli Nelson (Travis), Paysen and Parker Onshus; and his siblings, Tom Nelson and Julie Magasted (Lloyd).
