He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Leslie and Merrian Copus (Wendtland); his siblings, Victor, Larry, Cheryl and Regina; and his cousin Frank Copus.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Copus (Kevin Jones), Richard "Richie" Copus (Kallie Bagnell) and Brandi Copus (Ron Sanders); his grandchildren, Austin (Zoe), Mariah, Iziah, Emma, Trystan, Quintin, Sebastian, Alycen, Amethyst and Savannah; the mother of his children Jane Lavonne Copus Rivera; and his sibling's children, Angela, Kristi, Tommy, Tim and Scott. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
