He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Kessenich and Rose Kessenich (Watzke); his wife Janet Esther Mabis; his brothers, Tom (Donna) and Richard; his brothers-in-law, Donald Mabis (Viola) and Eugene Mabis; and his grandson Justin Kessenich.
He is survived by : his granddaughter Ashley; his niece Debbie (Ed Laymon); his close friend Eleanor Moran; his children, Dan Kessenich (Pam) of Arlington and Carol Otteson (Steve) of Arlington; his sister Faye Farr (Tom) of Greybull, WY; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kessenich of DeForest, Nancy Schmitz (Bob) of Berlin, Shirley Mabis, Howard Mabis (Martha) of Baldwin, Earl Mabis (Janette) of Sun Prairie and Jim Mabis (Julie) of Middleton; his grandchildren, Brandon Kessenich (Bethany) of Arlington, Dylan Kessenich (Tiffany) of Arlington, Jami Abbe (Tim) of DeForest and Alyssa Gaston (Beau) of DeForest; and his great grandchildren, Ryli, Jaxon, Aubrey, McCoy, Andi, Justin, Maverick and Josephine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice.
