He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Knudt Knudtson; his parents, Vernon Knudtson and Esther Knudtson; his brother Dean; his son Lane (Vernon); his uncle Clifford; and his stepson Bob Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sister-in-law Carol; his niece Kris Ann; his son Doug Jr. (Kathryn); his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Gretchen; and also, Nancy, Revilly Ann and Mike. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
