He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Cook and Mary Cook (Irvine); his parents-in-law, Robert and Gertrude Gillespie (Weber); and his brother Alexander "Sandy" Cook.

He is survived by: his wife Meg Gillespie Cook; his stepson Alex Bauer (Karianne); his granddaughters, Ava and Aubrey; his brother Carlton Cook; his nephew Allen Cook; and his brother-in-law Rob Gillespie (Linda). He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
