He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Roman Chavez (Marie) and Marie Chavez (Beyer); his wife Thea Slinger; his son Gavin of DeForest; his brother Mat Chavez of Madison; his father-in-law Jack Slinger (Gloria); and his siblings-in-law, John Slinger of Cambria, Adrianne and Heather Singer of Madison.
