He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hankins and Bernice Hankins (Mills); his wife Mary McGill; and his siblings, Joyce, Teri, Karen, Raymond Jr., Tom and Gary.
He is survived by: his children, Brian (JoAnna) and Becky (Dean); his grandchildren, Kyle, Cole and Kira Mngodo (David); his great grandchild Kendra; his brother Russell (Kay) of Prairie du Sac; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Griffith of Baraboo and Erleen of Prairie du Sac. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
