With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard Messman of DeForest, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on September 7, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Messman and Sybil Messman. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Witherspoon; his children, Brian and Kathleen (Will Buckingham); and his stepchildren, Andrew Witherspoon (Suna Lyu) and Lexington "Sue" Witherspoon.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Rick Messman's name to "High Point Church" with the note: "Benevolence Fund in Memory of Rick Messman".
