He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Lensing and Oda Lensing (Holthaus); his siblings, Susan, Robert and Dean (Carol); and his grandson Nathan Lensing.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Zweibohmer of Bridget's Catholic Church; his sons, Jeffrey Lensing (Cathy) of Andover, MN, Christopher Lensing (Tammy) of Waterford, WI, Cory Lensing of Deforest, WI and Andrew Lensing of Stevens Point, WI.; his grandchildren, Brittny Witt (Brandon) of Waterford, WI, Casey Rogde (Sam) of Fridley, MN, Ben Lensing of Andover, MN, Bowyn and Will Lensing of Stevens Point, WI.; his great grandchildren, Alanna, Jameson Witt of Waterford, WI, Cecelia, Carmen Rogde of Fridley, MN and Aiden Witt of Waterford, WI.; his siblings, Don Lensing (Mary Lou) of Decorah, IA, Marcellus (Peggy) of Decorah, IA, Jerome Lensing (Marilyn) of Tucson, AZ, Mary Wenthold (Terry) of Festina, IA, Tubby (Christi) of Tucson, AZ, Anne Price (Bob) of Tucson, AZ, Bill Lensing of Tucson, AZ and Charles (Peg) of Decorah, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Lensing (Robert) of Festina, IA. and Judy Lensing (Carol) of Decorah, IA. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Olaf Catholic Church (623 Jefferson St, DeForest, WI 53532).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Agrace Hospice.
