He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gallup and Mabel Gallup (Vierck); his wife Marlys Bellman; his son Dean Gallup; his brother Robert Gallup; his sister-in-law Dorothy Gallup; his son-in-law Ken Breaker; and his siblings-in-law, Brad Wright, John Peacock and Lois Lee.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Breaker of Hortonville, WI, Joann Churchill (John) of Flagstaff, AZ and Jane Koehl (George) of Darien; his daughter-in-law Cindy Gallup of Delavan; his grandchildren, Kyle Breaker (Lisa), Brian Breaker, Courtney Goetsch (Chris) and Katie Gallup (JJ Blair); his great grandchildren, Camryn, Lainey, Kensley, Lawson, Liam, Weston, Jacob and Brooklyn; and his sisters, Betty Peacock of Lake Geneva and Jeanette Wright of San Diego, CA..
