Gil Valdez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2021, at the age of 80, Gil Valdez of Delavan, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy; his son Kenneth Heinrich; his parents, Jose Cruz and Camila Cruz; his grandson Christopher Cocroft; and his niece Nikki Varela.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Valdez Cruz of Lake Geneva, Becky Boss (Jay) of Delavan, Penny Mittlested (Tab), Gilbear and Codie Valdez (Frank) of Wheeler; and his sister Evangelica Jung (Jesus Sanchez). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

“Dear Gil's family. I am so saddened by Gil's death. My condolences to you all. Gil, and his family were always so nice. He and my father were very good friends, as I believe myself and our family was. The Cygan's just loved him and Cindy. They are together now, in God's loving arms. I'm so happy when I saw him out walking his dog that I swung the car around to stop & talk to him. I was able to tell him how much I loved him and his wife. This is the picture I took of him that day, last August.”
