He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jr. Freitag and Evalina Freitag (Gamble); and his brother David (Judith). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hardin; his son Jeff Lininger (Natalie) of Janesville; his stepdaughter Marsha of Janesville; and his sisters, Wynnefred Sontag (Richard), Ellen Ankerson (Jack) and Barbara Lonze (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
