He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Espinos and Cecilia Espinos (Taraj); his siblings-in-law, Marian, April Espinos and Frank McVeagh; and his parents-in-law, Anthony and Lois Malcak.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Malcak; his children, Michael Espinos (Nina) and Melanie Espinos; his grandchildren, Penelope, James, Juliet Espinos, Ramesses and Naunet Thomas; his siblings, Ben, Sr. (Rose Cecile), Theresa McVeagh, Sr. (Josephine), Ruth and Thom (Pam); his nieces and nephews, Mickie Buonamaci (Curt) and Bill Espinos (Suzan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison, Matthew, Jack Espinos and Will Marks.
