He is survived by: his parents, Vincent Schatz and Lois Schatz; his wife Wendy Danielsen (Schatz); his children, Brandy Gonzalez (Gabriel) of Delavan, Elyse Hendrickson (Dustin), Vince Schatz (Alyse) of Pell Lake, Steve Pozniak (Kristy) of Buffalo Grove, IL, Joshua Danielsen and Danny Payne (Amanda) of Pell Lake; his siblings, Karen Caputo (Brian) of Aurora, IL, Joannie Schatz (Mitch), David Schatz (Cathy) of Buffalo Grove, IL, Tommy Schatz (Roxanne) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Joe Schatz of Racine; and his pets, Semper Fidelis, Lily, Fade and Shiloh. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; his pet fish, and pet.
