He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Vegter and Dorothy Vegter; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy and Tim. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Vegter; his children, Andrew Vegter (Kathleen) and Stephanie Hediger (David); the mother of his children Bonita Sisk; his stepchildren, Jennifer Hammen (Ed), Carrie Becker (Mike) and James Longo (Ashley); his grandchildren, Caroline, Juliette, Abbie and Elaine; his stepgrandchildren, Teagan, Tatum, Trayden, Johnathan, Allen, Declan and Dafydd; his great grandchild Emberlynn; and his siblings, Dale Vegter (Carol), Debbie Sullivan and Beverly Westbrook.
