She was predeceased by : her parents, Rafela Serna (Rodriguez) and Olivar Serna; her children, Juan Martin, Santiago, Anna Maria and Carla; and her sister Elodia.
She is survived by : her husband Fundador Rivera; and her children, Araceli Urban (Jose), Alicia Avila, Adrian Avila, Ismael Avila (Oralia), Maria Leticia Gomez (Gabino), Alma Barrera (Jose), Marisol Rivera Holden (Lance) and Teresa Raynoso (Jesse). She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
