He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Strong and Beth A. Strong (Anderson); his wife Betty L. Strong (Meinen); his daughter Tracy Pharris; and his brother Phillip Strong.
He is survived by: his son Michael Strong (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Rachel Strong, Ashlie Moelter (Kevin) and Chad Pharris (Briana); and his great grandchildren, Ahna, William, Lucas, Benjamin Moelter and Riley Pharris.
