He was predeceased by: his parents, John Torrey and Rita Torrey (Mounce). He is survived by: his wife Sharilyn Stanley; his children, Chaille Gleason (Patrick) of Cary, IL and David Torrey of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Tabor (Leon), Eamon, Gage (Amber), Macauley (Daril) and Blake; and his siblings, John Torrey (Diane), Patricia Torrey and Sally Torrey. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Habitat for Humanity or the Immigrant Defense Fund.
