He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kostka and Ida Kostka (Deprey); his son Gregory Kostka; and his siblings, Lorraine Kasmerchek (Garsow), Edward Garsow, Marie Brans (Garsow), Donald Kostka, Gerald Kostka, Nancy Karol (Kostka), Alma Lou Yantz (Kostka) and Donna Mae Laurin (Kostka).
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Ramsey); his children, Jeffery Kostka and Andrea Schuessler (Kostka); his children-in-law, Jeanine Kostka (Gould) and Robert Schuessler; his siblings-in-law, Jean Ramsey (James Magee) and Tom Ramsey (Mary Jo); his grandchildren, Erin Wachtendonk (Schuessler), Anne Lapinski (Gregory Lapinski), Stephen Kostka (Karen) and Andrew Kostka; and his great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Elizabeth Wachtendonk and Brynn Lapinski.
