He was predeceased by: his son Kyle Deegan; and his sister-in-law Lori Deegan. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Deegan (Dick) and Charlene Deegan (Schumacher); his children, Alecia Jacobson (Joe), Justine Deegan (Dean), Ryan Deegan and Brielle Deegan; his grandchildren, Zoey, Callaway, Finley, Beckett, Aven, Miller, Grace and Hannah; and his brothers, Mark Deegan, Jim Deegan (Debbie), Doug Deegan, Richie Deegan (Angie) and John Deegan (Becky).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Village Creek Bible Camp (1588 Drake Rd, Lansing, IA 52151).
