She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Friesen and Edna Friesen; her sister Donna Wallenhorst; her parents-in-law, Henry and Hilda Helbing; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Helbing, Henry Helbing (Butch), Stanley Helbing and Tom Donovan.
She is survived by: her husband Dave; her children, Kim Vanek (Chris), Jeff Helbing (Denise) and Scott Helbing (Tricia); her grandchildren, Nathan Helbing (Jill), Jordan Helbing, Marne Strevel (Tony), Sydni Helbing, Vance Hooley (Mikkela) and Jocelyn Hooley; her siblings, Bob Friesen (Sharon), Dick Friesen (Jackie), Mark Friesen (Pat), Betty Brown (Bill) and Janelle Weber (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Francis Wallenhorst, Rick Helbing (Kris), Joan Helbing, Mary Jo Helbing and Karen Donovan. She is also survived by 2 greatgrandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Carol Helbing Memorial Fund has been established.
