She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Linden and Freda Linden (Kreiser); her former husband Leonard Hesseling; her husband Gilbert Kunkel; her son Jerry Hesseling; her granddaughter Kailee Kunkel; and her brothers, Stanley Linden and Mervin Linden.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Hesseling of Capitan, NM and Kevin Kunkel (Michelle) of Pecatonica, IL; her daughter-in-law Rita Hesseling of Kieler; her sister-in-law Nancy Linden of Delavan, WI; her grandchildren, Cory Hesseling (Sarah), Tyler Hesseling (Kelly), Makenzie Mellentine (Garrett) and Maddy Kunkel (Kevin Lamb); and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Madison, Kylie, Taylor, Elizabeth, Josie and Clara.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (305 W Main St, Dickeyville, WI 53808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Colleen's name may be sent to the Casey-McNett Funeral Home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.
