He is survived by: his sons, Dale Pitzen (Denise) of Beloit, WI, Mark Pitzen (Michelle) of Mount Horeb, WI and Bryan Pitzen of Verona, WI; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Collin Pitzen and Sierra Pitzen; his siblings, James Pitzen of Lancaster, WI, David Pitzen (Emily) of Lancaster, WI, Diane Splinter (David) of Dickeyville, WI and Carol Weber (Robert) of Manhattan, KS; his sister-in-law Barb Thompson of Lancaster, WI; and his nephew Dennis (Pam Pearce) of Hazel Green, WI..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (305 W Main St, Dickeyville, WI 53808). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants & flowers a John "Jack" C. Pitzen Memorial Fund has been established.
