She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Pickel and Mary Pickel (Dalsing); her former husband Roman Bonifas; her spouse Bert Stierman; her son John Bonifas; her siblings, Eldon Pickel (Agnes), Lyle Pickel (Judy), Velma Moor (Paul) and Lorraine Pluemer; and her brother-in-law Bill Ihm.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jensen (Scott) of Chaska, MN, Cathy Parks (John) of Mountain View, CA, Bob Bonifas (Sandy) of Stevens Point, WI, Donna Davenport (Chuck Oldenberg) of New Berlin, WI and Dave Bonifas (Karen) of La Crosse, WI; her daughter-in-law Kim Bonifas of Balsam Lake, WI; her stepchildren, Carol Leach (Bob) of Dubuque, IA, Eric Stierman (Julie) of Dubuque, IA and Lisa Stierman (Frank Doherty) of Mound, MN; her sister Doris Ihm of Kieler, WI; and her in-laws, Bruce Pluemer of Woodland Park, CO and Verna Bonifas of Dubuque, IA. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
